The Office of the Inspector of Custodial Services will be inspecting Bandyup Women’s Prison in July 2026. This will be the ninth inspection of Bandyup – the primary sentenced facility for adult women in the Perth metropolitan area.

The inspection will focus on 29 out of 33 of the inspectorate’s Inspection Standards for Adult Custodial Facilities and will assess progress made on the previous 10 recommendations.
