We are pleased to announce the Governor in Executive Council has appointed Jane Higgins as acting Inspector of Custodial Services for a period of eight months commencing on 13 July 2026. Jane will act in the role while Eamon Ryan takes extended leave prior to retirement on 20 November 2026.

We are also pleased to welcome Fiona McQuisten, who will act as Deputy Inspector while Jane is acting Inspector.
